Paul Swann

Paul has worked in the Film and TV production industry in numerous roles for over twenty years. A graduate of the prestigious Bournemouth Film School, he later spent several years at ARRI Rental UK as Head of Crew Support, where he was responsible for providing technical support across countless commercials and long-form productions, ranging from Game of Thrones to James Bond 007 and the Bourne film franchise. Utilising his substantial technical knowledge and industry contacts, Paul took his first steps into the freelance world of the Digital Imaging Technician in 2011.

Since those early days, he has worked consistently on hundreds of commercials and music videos as a DIT, alongside occasional forays into features, drama and documentary. Confident working both on-set and near-set, Paul’s extensive knowledge of data management and dailies production makes him a very safe pair of hands, as well as an experienced and enthusiastic collaborator on productions of any scale. He also offers the flexibility of a well-equipped, self-contained DIT van with independent power, capable of meeting the demands of even the most challenging production environments. When not on set, Paul spends his time writing fiction, playing badminton, and volunteering with a local charity, Epping Forest Conservation Volunteers.
