Alex’s path to the film industry didn’t follow a straight line—he began as a barber, mastering precision with clippers before discovering a passion for the camera during the pandemic. This unexpected pivot led him to a degree in Film Production, where he graduated with 1st Class Honours in Cambridge and a love of cinematography. Throughout his time during and post-university, he shot countless projects as a Director of Photography including short films, music videos and even commercial content for clients such as Shakespeare’s Globe and British Cinematographer magazine. Alongside this he gained experience within the camera department in every role, getting as much joy from assisting others as he has shooting for himself. Alex is currently sharpening his Camera Assisting skills at the National Film and Television School.

She began her career in Set Design, gaining invaluable on-set experience and deepening her understanding of the filmmaking process. Her passion for cinematography and the technical craft naturally led her to specialise in the camera department, where she continues to thrive.

Phoebe is a dedicated and hardworking camera trainee with a passion for cinematography. She has been working on set for over a year, bringing both technical expertise and creative insight to every project. A graduate of the University of Portsmouth with a degree in Film Production, she specialised in Cinematography and completed her PADI Open Water Media Diver course.
Phoebe thrives in the collaborative environment of the camera department. Charismatic and team-oriented, she is a strong advocate for mental health and prioritises the well-being of her fellow crew members. Her blend of technical knowledge and artistic vision makes her a valuable trainee, eager to expand her experience and continually learn from every opportunity on set.
Kim graduated from Arts University Bournemouth with a degree in Film Production, specialising in Cinematography. Since then, she has worked across HETV, film, and commercials, and is a proud Friend of the Association of Camera Operators.
Her career began on the set of The Witcher Season 3, Episode 8, where she joined as work experience alongside Mike Spragg BSC. This led to her stepping up as an additional trainee, working on C camera, and occasionally B camera. As her network expanded, Kim went on to work on high-profile productions including The Gentlemen, Malory Towers, and Venom 3.
Kim is a reliable, hardworking camera trainee who thrives under pressure and remains calm in fast-paced environments. She is passionate about supporting her team, constantly learning, and refining her craft. With a strong interest in long-form narrative work, she is focused on building her career in film and television with the long-term goal of becoming a camera operator.
Thomas Foster is a dedicated Camera Trainee with hands-on experience across short films, documentaries, television, commercials, and music promos. Proficient in both digital and film workflows, he has worked with a range of camera systems, including the Alexa Mini, Sony Venice, and 35mm formats.

Nic Sian is a Camera Trainee based in Newcastle upon Tyne, with additional bases in London and Scotland. A graduate of The Northern School of Art, Nic has been working in the camera department for several years, gaining experience across film, television, and commercial productions.
Beginning in children’s television, Nic has since worked on a range of projects, including TV dramas, comedies, commercials, music videos, and non-scripted content. Adaptable and driven, Nic thrives in fast-paced environments and enjoys the ever-changing nature of the industry, continuously learning and collaborating with new creatives.
